Cabot™ SPF Deck & Fence Finish

Clean, stain and walk on the deck all in the same day when used with Problem-Solver Wood Cleaner. Cabot SPF is available in three levels of protection: 24, 36 and 48. It can be applied to damp or dry wood. Cabot SPF offers outstanding water repellency and UV protection. It can also be used on composite decking.

Cabot S-P-F 24/36/48 Deck & Fence Finishes marks an entirely new dimension in exterior deck and fence protection. This product provides a level of water-repellency and U.V.protection beyond conventional wood treatments through a unique coating technology. Cabot S-P-F can be applied just hours after rain or surface washing because of its moisture-friendly (hydrophilic) resin system that actually uses surface moisture to penetrate and level. The result is a remarkably easy-to-use, premium exterior wood finish that delivers true performance and beauty.

For use on:
-Decks
-Cladding
-Fences
-Sheds & Outbuildings

Finish:
Cabot S-P-F 24 series has a lightly- toned appearance; S-P-F 36 series has a moderately- toned appearance; and S-P-F 48 series has a deeply-toned appearance. All tones have a near, flat finish.

Maintenance:
As with all exterior wood finishes, the darker the tone, the greater the level of protection offered. Darker tones also require less frequent maintenance: S-P-F 24 series requires a recoat every 12-24 months; S-P-F 36 series requires a recoat every 24-36 months; and for S-P-F 48 series, a recoat is required every 36-48 months depending on wear patterns and exposure.

Colours:
All S-P-F finishes are available in three tones: Golden Tan, Coco Shell and Sunray. S-P-F 24 is also available in Natural.

Coverage:
A 3.79 litre tin will cover approximately 28 - 37 square metres on smooth surfaces or 14 - 23 square metres on rough surfaces. These rates will vary depending upon the moisture content and porosity of the surface.

Number of Coats:
Two coats are recommended for maximum performance and protection.
