Product Overview:
We have available our superb A & Better Clear grade Western Red Cedar cladding in the stunning 19 x 185mm channel profile. These wide boards can be installed horizontally or vertically to create striking shadow line effects where the boards join.
Channel cladding is very popular in the North American market but is less common on these shores. It is suitable for both traditional and contemporary applications. The resawn surface not only looks great but will also weather at a slower rate than a smooth surface and will retain a finish for longer.
The stock looks to be in perfect condition (see photos below) but with new stock on the way we need the space, so we are letting it go for a great price. We are confident that you won't be able to find cedar cladding of this standard anywhere in the UK at this price.
Trade packs are sold unopened and unchecked so there may be a small amount of wastage in the form of natural defects that can be trimmed upon installation. With a high end product like this you will find that defects and handling damage is kept to an absolute minimum, indeed you may even find none at all. We have factored a small amount of wastage into the price.
Take a close look at the photos below, you will see that the edges of the boards are in perfect condition. If you take a look at the end grain you will see that the growth rings are extremely tight, an indication that the raw material is slow grown and of the highest quality. Also take a look at the deep rich colours, a sign that this cladding is produced from the finest coastal grown Western Red Cedar heartwood.
This truly is a beautiful natural product that cannot be fully appreciated until you can actually see it up close, touch it and even smell it. Customers are always welcome to visit our warehouse in Widnes where you can examine this or any of our products.
