For a solid 19mm thick Western Red Cedar fence board this product represents excellent value for money. These boards are well manufactured to meet the appearance requirements of quality fencing projects. You should expect to see natural defects and characteristics as mentioned in the grade description below, in other words it's not absolutely perfect but then it's made for fencing and its only £2.09 (inc. vat) per lineal metre!
As the photos show you can build a very solid and attractive fence with these boards and being Cedar they will remain stable and outlast pretty much all other wooden fencing on the market.
This product has a smooth planed finish one face and a re-sawn face on the other. We think that the re-sawn face looks the best - it gives a slightly rustic appearance that blends well in any natural setting.
Note that if you require a clean contemporary looking Cedar fence you can use clear grade Western Red Cedar trim boards or cladding.
Grade Characteristics
'2&BTR No Hole' is an excellent all-purpose grade for residential or commercial applications. The characteristics are:
