Fine Sawn tongue & groove is smooth on one face and fine sawn on the other ad is graded on the fine sawn face.

This product is manufactured from premium kiln dried clear grade Western Red Cedar. It has been downgraded due to natural defects on the smooth face but the fine sawn face is clear and free from defects.

It can be used with the fine sawn face exposed which gives a textured look or the defects on the smooth face can be cut out if this surface is preferred. The fine sawn surface is popular in the North American market; it creates an attractive slightly saw textured appearance and is known to retain finish better than a smooth planed surface.
