Keep it Simple
A deck doesn't have to be elaborate to work for you. In many situations a simple square or rectangular deck is all that's required to provide a stylish outdoor living space and a link between the home and garden.
A simple deck can be transformed into a very pleasant outdoor living space with a few pots or planters. You can go even further and incorporate railing, trellis, built in benches and even lighting.
We offer a wide range of deck kits made from standard timber sizes to minimise wastage. You can combine two or more deck kits to make an interesting outdoor space.
Easy to Assemble
Our deck kits are not just simple in design, they are also simple to install too. Our easy to assemble deck kits can be completed in a weekend by any competent do-it-yourselfer. If you can use a drill, spirit level and tape measure you will have no problem assembling one of our deck kits. Simply screw the joists together to create the frame, then screw down the deck boards, apply the finish and you will have built yourself a superb outdoor living space!
Instructions are included with each kit and in the unlikely event that you run into difficulties; our technical guys are just a phone call away.
Uneven ground? No problem.
Our deck kits are designed to be built over a relatively flat surface such as an existing patio or concrete base. Alternatively you can lay out a series of concrete pads or paving slabs which will provide an excellent base for your deck.
A deck is a simple low-cost solution to creating a usable outdoor living space over sloping or uneven ground. If part or all of the deck is elevated you can add an optional elevation kit. This includes galvanized post bases, posts and beams. Please call or email to discuss your requirement.
Quality Materials
We could have cobbled together some cheap deck kits using inferior materials but cutting corners is not our style. All our deck kits include GRK screws, stress graded joists and a choice of premium deck boards that will not only look superb but will also stand the test of time.

Finish
Finish is not included with the kits as there are various options available.
Fascia
If you want to hide the face of the joists you will want to install fascia on one or more sides of the deck. 140mm (Western Red Cedar & Southern Yellow Pine) or 145mm (Garapa or Ipe) deck boards are used for fascia.
